Preventative Maintenance

Boiler Service
Each property should undertake an annual service of its oil or gas boiler to ensure its safety and operational efficiency. Boiler emissions are tested for unsafe levels of CO2, filters and lines are cleaned and units are checked for cracks, drips or leaks. In particular, oil leaks can cause catastrophic damage, not only to your property but to the surrounding area. Our technicians will highlight and investigate the source of any issues with your boiler and address any wear and tear.

Periodic Inspection/Electrical Check
Electrical checks, including Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR), examine your property’s electrical systems including to ensure the fuse board, outlets and sockets are operating properly and fault-free. We replace broken sockets and light switches and can provide advice on energy cost savings (such as switching to LED). All inspections are carried out by our qualified electricians and fully certified.

Gutter Cleaning
Keep gutters clean and robust to protect your property from water damage. We clean fascias, soffits and down pipes, remove debris, nesting and stagnant water, and conduct a thorough visual inspection to identify leaks and cracks that need resealing and loose joints that need tightening.

Roof
Roof checks should be undertaken every five to eight years. We check for slipped or broken tiles, and flashings and chimney cowls for nesting, cracks and gaps, and repairing, replacing and sealing to prevent further damage. Chimney
